Rainy Pass Lodge takes great pride in serving delicious hearty, home-cooked meals. Denise Perrins runs the Cook House at Rainy Pass Lodge. She has been cooking for large groups since the late 1970’s. Denise has had a recipe of hers published and has had many guests encourage her to come out with her own cook book.
Next time you are wondering what’s for dinner, imagine the nearest grocery store is an hour away – by plane! Now imagine you have anywhere from 10 to 25 guests arriving for dinner! Think of the planning, the logistics, and the creativity required to put three great-tasting hot meals on the table every day along with an endless supply of homemade snacks, desserts and goodies. Denise and her staff take it in stride every day.
Meals are served family-style in the Cook House, (see examples below). A variety of snacks and beverages are available all day long. If you head out for a day trip or overnight adventure, plenty of food will be packed and ready to take with you.
Please Note: we usually do not have soda and do not have a liquor license, so please discuss beverage preferences with us ahead of time so any special arrangements can be made. If you have certain food allergies or dietary needs please contact us ahead of time so we can do our best to accommodate your needs.
Wake up to a complete hot meal and continental breakfast items including home baked goods such as muffins or coffee cake.
Expect specialty sandwiches, burgers, soup, salad, fries, chips, and other custom creations.
We serve a wide variety of home-cooked dinner menus and time-tested guest favorites.
